What is MindSpace?

The MindSpace Clinic

Welcome to MindSpace, a center for psychotherapy, mindfulness meditation, and coaching based in Montreal. Psychologist Dr. Joe Flanders founded Mindspace to provide evidence-based tools for lifting mood, reducing stress and anxiety, and promoting health, well-being, and performance.

The MindSpace Approach

The MindSpace approach is firmly grounded in the science of well-being: it uniquely combines scientifically-validated techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These techniques develop relaxation and focus in the now, helping to produce positive results in the short-term and life management skills for the long-term.

Mindspace’s team of experts, including doctoral-level clinical psychologists, come from a variety of backgrounds in psychology and come together in their commitment to supporting meaningful life changes using the best scientifically-validated tools available. They bring their unique know-how, experience, and understanding to the one-on-one and group programs MindSpace offers. In addition, MindSpace is plugged into a rich network of health professionals around Montreal, who share a similar approach.
