Avital (Tali) Ogniewicz is near the completion of her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Concordia University. She has experience providing psychological services to adults and older adolescents in a variety of settings including the Allan Memorial Institute, Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, and the Applied Psychology Centre at Concordia University. She offers services to individuals who struggle with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, alcohol/substance use problems, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, trauma, attentional and organizational problems, and relationship difficulties. She also provides comprehensive ADHD assessments.
Tali uses techniques from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Using these techniques, she helps clients manage difficult emotions, develop healthy and adaptive behaviours, and engage in more helpful thinking styles. She is also committed to helping her clients build the self-confidence and motivation that is necessary to making positive change in their lives. Tali provides services in English.
