Seeking a little mind space this month? Interested in learning to meditate? The MindSpace Clinic is partnering with Montreal’s Studio Breathe to present a mindfulness and meditation workshop on Saturday, October 19. Studio Breathe is an urban yoga and martial arts centre devoted to healthy, conscious living and mind/body exercise–making the centre a perfect complement for the meditation and wellness programs offered at the MindSpace Clinic.
Dr. Joe Flanders, Director of the MindSpace Clinic, will discuss the benefits and challenges of meditating and provide tips on how to incorporate meditation into your busy schedule. This two-hour workshop is an opportunity to practice guided meditation and to learn the tools to reduce stress and anxiety, boost your mood, and improve your overall health and quality of life. The workshop is open to everyone: seasoned meditators will have the opportunity to practice in a welcoming new community, and beginners will experience a taste of the peace and calm that meditation can create.
