Take a Breath of Fresh Air this Fall!
MindSpace is thrilled to be collaborating with Breather this fall to offer free-of-charge Introduction to Mindfulness workshops, open to anyone interested in a first-hand taste of what mindfulness has to offer. Breather and MindSpace share a dedication to providing a space for calm, creativity and focus, making collaboration between the two organizations a natural fit. The workshops will take place in four Breather locations in Montreal on September 12, 13, 14, and 15.
Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop
If you’re interested in learning to meditate or simply in being more present in your day-to-day life, join MindSpace psychologists Dr. Sarah Roberts, Dr. Julien Lacaille, Dr. Joe Flanders and Sebastien Nguyen for an introduction to the benefits of mindfulness meditation. The workshops are an opportunity to practice guided meditation and to learn tools for reducing stress and anxiety, boosting mood, and improving overall health and quality of life.
The workshops are open to everyone: seasoned meditators will have the opportunity to practice in a new environment, and beginners will experience a taste of the peace and calm that meditation can create. Our trainers will also discuss some of the challenges of meditating and provide tips on how to incorporate mindfulness and meditation into your busy schedule.
