MBCT Facilitation Certificate

MindSpace is pleased to collaborate with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies to bring you the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Facilitation Certificate. An overview of the program can be found here.

The prerequisites:

  • Professional clinical training and credentials
  • Daily mindfulness practice
  • Participated in an 8-week MBCT program
  • Participated in at least one 5-day silent retreat

CBT Primer

CBT Primer is a 1-day overview of CBT skills for mindfulness teachers. It is also the second step in the MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program.

MBCT Practicum

MBCT Practicum is the fourth module of the MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program. Participants will meet over 6 days in two separate weeks.

  • Dates: May 3rd and 4th (9:00am – 5:30pm), May 5th (9:00am – 1:00pm) with Patricia Rockman; May 10th and 11th (9:30am – 5:30pm), May 12th (9:00am – 1:00pm) with Evan Collins.

MBCT Basics (in French)

MBCT Basics is the first module of the MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program. Participants will meet over 12 hours in two consecutive days.

 

 

The Facilitation certificates are awarded upon completion of the associated program modules. A Level 2 (Advanced) certification is available with additional training and mentorship. It is recommended that the modules be completed in order, although exceptions are made occasionally. Please contact info@mindfulnessstudies.com for information.
